Saddle Polyhedron: A closed figure formed by a finite number of saddle polygons bounded by straight edges. Although, as with plane faced polyhedra, there can be an infinite number of saddle polyhedra, only those figures which can be used to build infinite periodic structures are of concern. The initial part of this research is the generator for the Kaohsiung Port Terminal studio project. Through the study of a construction of a saddle primitives, many spatial aggregations are explored as a means of generating figural and figureless mass. These systems are explored in their capacity to produce surface, volume and void.
